Campbell Gray

Campbell Gray (1879–1944), the second Bishop of Northern Indiana, was born January 6, 1879, in Bolivar, Tennessee, the son of Episcopal priest and later bishop William Crane Gray and his second wife, Fannie Campbell (Bowers) Gray. He died May 16, 1944, a resident of Mishawaka, Indiana.〔''Who Was Who in America'', vol. 2 (1943-1950), Chicago: A.N Marquis Company, 1963, p. 219〕
==Education==
Campbell Gray attended the University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee and received a B.A. in 1901 and an M.A. in 1902. He started his theological studies there, but transferred after one year to General Theological Seminary in New York City where he graduated in 1904.〔''Who Was Who in America'', vol. 2 (1943-1950), Chicago: A.N Marquis Company, 1963, p. 219〕
